What's New
Menstrual hygiene education for Deaf learners
Equipping children with practical knowledge about menstrual management is crucial for their overall well-being.
It’s really helpful if girls learn to start observing their menstrual cycle, so they can start to predict fairly accurately when they will get a period and can be ready with a pad or cloth in their school bag to avoid menstrual accidents.
Our first reading club has been formed at the Cape Coast school for the Deaf & Blind in Cape Coast. The club consists of 30 learners from Bs. 4 to Bs. 6. Club meetings are held every week to help participants improve their reading skills.
Meet Luca & Lukas our two dedicated volunteers from Germany working tirelessly to help our beneficiaries to improve their reading, spelling & text comprehension. They will be supporting the program till August 2025.
