Theresa's story
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Theresa, who was afraid to go to school after she relocated from the Northern region of Ghana to stay with her aunt in Cape Coast. She didn't like attending school because she struggled tremendously with learning particularly with reading and mathematics. However, because she was a well-behaved child who tried hard, most teachers didn’t address her learning difficulties and allowed her to slip through from Bs.1 to Bs. 3. But her story changed after joining the after-school program at the Kaizen Centre in September;with the constant support and attention given her, Theresa Sogluuzie of Aboom A.M.E Zion in Cape Coast has improved significantly in her academics, this is evident in the end of first term examination in December 2025. She is currently among the first 10 students category in her class.
